The Field Is Already Moving.

In today's complex and rapidly changing world, traditional organizational development models often fall short. My approach offers a transformative pathway, guiding organizations to evolve by recognizing they're living systems, not machines—helping consciousness move through leadership, culture, and collective practice toward what wants to emerge.

What I Do

I help organizations remember they're alive.

Most approaches treat organizations like machines to be fixed. I work with them as living fields of consciousness—helping leaders and teams recognize that their exhaustion, breakdowns, and resistance aren't problems to solve but intelligence trying to speak.

Through coaching, workshops, and ceremonial consulting, I guide people to read what's actually happening beneath the surface: where the sensitive ones are fleeing, what patterns keep repeating, why certain meetings feel like death. This isn't about fixing dysfunction—it's about discovering that dysfunction itself is function, showing us exactly where transformation wants to happen.

My work follows the natural cycles of organizational consciousness:

  • Witnessing what's actually present (not what we wish was there)

  • Honoring the Rupture when old forms can no longer hold

  • Midwifing the Becoming of new patterns that want to emerge

  • Embracing the Never-Ending nature of transformation itself

This isn't a linear process or a framework to implement. It's learning to move with the intelligence already present in your system—to stop forcing change and start following what's already changing.

Why It Matters

Because your organization is not a problem to be solved—it's consciousness trying to evolve.

Every symptom in your system is scripture. Every breakdown is breakthrough in disguise. The mass departures, the meeting fatigue, the sense that something essential is dying—these aren't failures of leadership or strategy. They're your organization trying to remember it's a living system, not a machine.

Traditional consulting assumes organizations need better tools, clearer strategies, more alignment. But what if they need less fixing and more feeling? Less optimization and more allowing? Less strategic planning and more sacred listening?

When we stop treating organizations as mechanical problems and start recognizing them as fields of consciousness:

  • Exhaustion transforms into intelligence about what wants to die

  • Resistance reveals itself as wisdom about what shouldn't be forced

  • Breakdown becomes compost for what's ready to grow

  • The "sensitive ones" become oracles, not problems to manage

The result? Organizations that don't manage change—they move with it. Not because they've mastered complexity, but because they've remembered they ARE complexity. Living it. Breathing it. Becoming through it.

Behind the Fractal Praxis Vision

DR. MATTHEW DUNN

Matthew is an organizational psychologist and performance coach who spent twenty years discovering that organizations aren't machines to be fixed—they're living systems trying to remember themselves.

His journey began on soccer fields, where a decade of collegiate coaching revealed that teams are fields of consciousness, not collections of individuals. After earning his doctorate in Organizational Leadership Psychology, he founded Performance Rising in 2016, but it was his own practice dissolution that became his deepest teacher.

Now he works where psychology meets mythology, where symptoms become scripture, where breakdown reveals itself as breakthrough. Through coaching, workshops, and ceremonial consulting, Matthew helps leaders and organizations read the intelligence already present in their exhaustion, resistance, and longing for work that works with life rather than against it.

His approach doesn't optimize dysfunction—it composts outdated forms so new life can emerge. Because real transformation doesn't come from better frameworks. It comes from recognizing that we ARE the system we're trying to transform, and it's already showing us the way.

Services Rooted in the Fractal Praxis Vision

  • Leading From the Field

    Personal Leadership Development & Coaching

Discover what emerges when you stop performing leadership and start embodying it. Through deep coaching and somatic practices, you'll learn to read the intelligence in your exhaustion, trust what your body knows before your mind, and develop capacity to hold space for transformation—yours and others'. Not confidence building, but presence cultivation.

  • Becoming Together

    Team Dynamics & Collaborative Practice

Real teams don't just collaborate—they become together what they cannot become alone. I help groups discover the intelligence moving between them, transform conflict into creative tension, and recognize when breakdown is trying to birth breakthrough. Your team will learn to read its own field, trust its collective wisdom, and move with the aliveness that emerges when humans truly meet.

  • Composting Culture

    Culture & Systemic Change

Culture isn't what you create—it's what's already creating you. I help organizations read the stories they're telling through symptoms, patterns, and departures. Together we'll discover where life wants to flow, what shadows need integration, and how your system is already trying to evolve. Transformation happens when you stop forcing change and start midwifing what's emerging.

  • Learning from What Is

    Emergence-Based Development for Living Systems

Develop capacity to learn from what's actually happening, not what should be. Through experiential practices and real-time reflection, you'll discover how to read breakdown as breakthrough, resistance as intelligence, and symptoms as teachers. Your team will learn to trust the wisdom already present in your system—transforming uncertainty from threat into invitation.

  • Athletics as Living System

    Where Performance Meets Consciousness

Athletic teams are perfect laboratories for organizational consciousness—every game a ceremony, every season a cycle of becoming. This work helps teams and coaches recognize that peak performance emerges not from controlling systems but from reading them. Learn how exhaustion teaches, why team chemistry can't be forced, and how to cultivate the field conditions where excellence naturally arises.

  • The Fractal Praxis Intensive

A Ceremonial Journey for Leaders Ready to Transform

This signature program isn't leadership development—it's leadership composting. Through somatic practices, systems sensing, and mythic reflection, you'll discover what wants to die in your leadership so something truer can emerge. Participants learn to read organizational fields like living texts, trust dissolution as teacher, and midwife new forms of gathering that actually generate life.
